Texts included: Charles Baudelaire, Akilah Oliver, William Goyen, Fyodor Doestoyevsky, Laird hunt, Alice Sebold, Albert Camus, Charles Simic.

Study achieved through reading, discussion, writing and workshop critiques. (Ten weeks) Student chosen texts include excerpts from these authors: James Agee, Jeannette Winterson, Toni Morrison, Kim Addonizio, Jean Valentine, Ruth Stone.
