Comprehensive study of points of view through texts, discussion and writing. (Ten weeks) Study achieved through reading, discussion, writing, workshop critiques and final reading performance. Texts included: Charles Baudelaire, Akilah Oliver, William Goyen, Fyodor Doestoyevsky, Laird hunt, Alice Sebold, Albert Camus, Charles Simic.

Curious Advanced Creative Writing Seminar:

Study achieved through reading, discussion, writing and workshop critiques. (Ten weeks) Student chosen texts include excerpts from these authors: James Agee, Jeannette Winterson, Toni Morrison, Kim Addonizio, Jean Valentine, Ruth Stone.

Dream Creative Writing Workshop:

Through examination of Freud, Jung and personal dreams, students learn techniques using dreams or dream symbols in their own texts.

Transformation Creative Writing Workshop:

Hermaneutic study of transformation using literary texts: from Cuneiform to students own writing techniques and styles. Workshop critiques. (Ten weeks) Texts include excerpts from these authors: William Goyen, Jamaica Kincaid, Rebecca Brown, Chase Twichell, Don Delillo, Jorge Luis Borges, Margaret Atwood, Stephen Millhauser.

Truth Creative Writing Workshop:

Hermaneutic study of truth as revealed in literary texts. Workshop critiques.   (Ten Weeks) Texts include excerpts from these authors: Primo Levi, Brothers Grimm, Tim OBrien, Marie Howe, Alexandra Fuller, Rebecca Brown, Gwendolyn Brooks, Richard Wright.
